What "compression" means here

FlexForm is a compression underscrub in the apparel sense — a fitted, supportive knit that hugs the body and smooths your silhouette under scrubs. It is not a medical-grade compression garment and we don't make any medical-compression claim. If you're looking for graduated compression for a venous condition, this isn't that — talk to your provider about a medical compression garment instead. What FlexForm gives you is the supportive, fitted feel athletes wear under their uniforms, translated for a healthcare floor: enough hold to keep the fabric close and the silhouette clean for twelve hours, never so much that it restricts movement or breathing.

The compression-knit nylon-spandex blend keeps the garment dimensionally stable shift after shift. The fitted long sleeve smooths the line of your scrubs at the shoulder and bicep — you don't get the loose fabric bunch that ruins a clean scrub silhouette. The fit is fitted but not restrictive: full overhead reach, full bedside-care range of motion, full ability to take a deep breath at the end of a tough patient interaction.

Fit & sizing

The Striped FlexForm runs closer to the body than the AeroKnit. It is fitted by design — a fitted underscrub that smooths the silhouette under scrubs, not a relaxed base layer. Sleeves end at the wrist with a flat-knit cuff that stays put under a scrub sleeve. Hem hits at the high hip and the compression knit keeps it from rolling up when you bend or squat. The crew neckline sits flat against the collarbone, sized to disappear under a V-neck scrub top.

For a true fitted-compression feel, order your usual top size. If you prefer the supportive-but-relaxed in-between, size up one. We don't recommend sizing down — the compression knit is already designed to fit close. Full measurements on our size guide.

Care instructions

Machine wash cold on a regular cycle with like colors. Tumble dry low. No fabric softener — it coats the nylon and degrades compression recovery over time. No bleach. Avoid hot water — heat breaks down the spandex. The compression knit holds its fitted shape through repeated wash cycles when you follow these basics.

Why this price

Compression-knit nylon-spandex costs more than cotton or modal jersey, and pattern engineering for a fitted-but-not-restrictive long sleeve underscrub took several rounds before we shipped it. The yarn we spec is a higher recovery grade than the standard nylon-spandex blend most apparel uses — it costs more, but it's what keeps the fitted shape intact through repeated wash cycles instead of letting it stretch out within a month. We don't run flash sales and we ship from St. George, Utah so returns and exchanges are real.
